The wait is finally over. After talks about which designer Michelle Obama would wear to the inaguration ball, she finally wore a cream-colored one shoulder gown designed by 26 year old Jason Wu. According to the WSJ the designer was born in Taipei and has only been designing for a few years. One interesting note was that when he was asked back in December if he would design the inaugural gown for the future First Lady he said he wasn't hopeful. In my opinion I think she looked gorgeous. What did you think?

Last night while I was watching the news I heard that various department stores nationwide were going to be giving away FREE make-up. This isn't a cruel joke... it's actually true. Some of the stores that will be giving away the free make-up includes Macy's, Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus. You get to choose from 10 different brands which include Chanel, Christian Dior, Estee Lauder among others. It starts today and is set to last for a max. of seven days.
