One of the many perks of my job and working with many makeup artists is getting to learn about beauty and makeup products. These have quickly become my go-to's and ones that I tend to buy over and over again.
Sephora is also having a sale (which ends on August 27th) and as you might know, makeup hardly ever goes on sale so you might want to take advantage of it.
1. Drunk Elephant Vitamin C Serum: I absolutely love this serum. I've been using it for about one year. It doesn't break me out like other Vitamin C Serums and helps with dark spots. I use it every day before I apply my makeup.
2. Caudalie Beauty Elixir- This pretty much feels like a spa in a bottle. It helps tighten your pores and is great before applying makeup or if you need a little wake me up. It smells absolutely amazing. You can also get the travel size to try it out, which is only $18.
3. BUXOM Lip Gloss- I love the natural look of this lip gloss. It has the perfect pinkish hue.
4. Charlotte Tilbury "Pillow Talk" Lip Pencil: The perfect pinkish lip pencil. I like to fill my lips with this lip pencil and then add a lip gloss. Great for every day.
5. Laura Mercier "Plum Berry" Lip Pencil: Had to include this one as well. It's quickly become one of my everyday favorites. I rotate between this one and Pillow Talk. Looks great on olive toned skin.
6. Laura Mercier Translucent Powder: Great powder to help with those oily spots. I'll normally only use it on my T-Zone and to set the concealer under my eyes.
7. It Cosmetics CC+ Cream: One of my new favorite CC creams. Not only does it make your skin look great, but it's also anti-aging so you know you are getting coverage and taking care of your skin at the same time. Love that it has collagen, peptides and hyaluronic acid to help with fine lines.
8. Anastasia Eyebrow Powder: This eyebrow powder will pretty much last me a year. I also prefer it over the pencil (which doesn't last that long). It looks so natural too. I get the Soft Brown Shade.
9. Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Ultra Fine Mist: Love using this hydrating mist throughout the day. It helps soothe the skin and hydrate it at the same time. It also has clean ingredients, which I like.
10. Glow Recipe Watermelon AHA Glow Sleeping Mask: Before I have a TV shoot, I love using this sleeping mask. It helps remove dead skin cells and hydrates the skin, so you wake up with a nice glow.
11. Benefit Cosmetics HOOLA Bronzer: A makeup artist introduced me to this bronzer and I absolutely love it. I mainly use it for contouring.
12. Tarte Shape Tape: This concealer is great for under the eyes. It's creamy so it won't dry you out like other concealers. It's only available at ULTA though. For the rest of my skin or any blemishes, I like to use the NARS Creamy Concealer.
