The other day while I was in the elevator of my apartment building, a girl (which actually happens to be my next door neighbor) had on this really cool necklace, so of course I had to ask her where she got it. To my surprise, she actually had made it herself. She’s been designing jewelry ever since she could remember and use to work with a Miami based jewelry designer. She then started branching into her own creations when she started working at a bead store.
I was really excited to hear from her the other day that she got her Etsy page up and running, so now you can find her jewelry online. Here’s a picture of the necklace I was talking about. Everything she makes is a one of a kind and she never repeats her pieces she says “it takes away from their individuality and from the creativity that inspired them.” She told me that she sometimes even wakes up in the middle of the night because she got inspired by something. Her creations are made with materials such as wood mixed with semiprecious stones to pleather and suede and you can find necklaces starting at $40 and her body jewelry starting at $100.
