This week I had the honor of interviewing style icon and fashion designer Carolina Herrera at the grand opening of her boutique in Bal Harbour Shops. She was absolutely amazing. I hope you enjoy the video!

Q: What inspired your 2010 collection?
CH: Well, you're going to love the colors of the collection, which is the color of the sunset. So, you know those oranges and pinks when the sunset is out. The collection was inspired by the basket weaving. So the shoes and the bags are inspired by that, the way Japanese baskets are made and the materials too...so it's a whole collection based on that.
Q: What style advice can you give women?
CH: I think they have to know their own style, they can not wear what everything fashion even if it doesn't look good on them. You have to know what looks good on you and wear it, even if it's not the moment in fashion. You can not become a fashion victim.
Q: If you weren't a designer...what other career would you be doing?
CH: Um, I think I would be a fashion designer.
