Q&A: Nany's Klozet x Melao

Our good friend and blogger Daniela from Nany's Klozet recently partnered with Venezuelan brand Melao to launch a capsule collection inspired by her style. We couldn't be more excited! She's always so stylish and we love how she mixes high-end with low-end pieces. We caught up with her for a fun little Q&A. Here's what she had to say.

Q. Tell us about your collaboration for Melao, what was your inspiration?

A. Yes! I was so excited to design a capsule collection with an amazing brand from Venezuela, where I'm from. After the first meeting I knew exactly the look and feel of the mini-collection. I wanted it to represent my style and my blog. In my blog, I always show how to re-wear an item several ways. The collection is fashionable yet versatile: Nany’s Klozet’s pieces for Melao can be worn many ways...with other pieces from the collection, with items from Melao, or with clothes you already owned.

Q. What are your 5 wardrobe must-haves?

A. A white blouse - versatile LBD - Boyfriend jeans - A leather jacket - Nude pumps

Q. What's your best bargain find in your wardrobe?

A. The best bargain in my wardrobe is a pair of Dolce and Gabanna shoes I found at a thrift store for $20!!

Q. What's your favorite piece from the line and why?

A. My favorite piece is the matchy matchy blazer/shorts set. You can wear them separetely or together for a trendy look.

Q. What's the best style advice you have ever received?

A. "Before buying anything, think of at least three ways to wear that piece"

Q. Which items do you think are worth the splurge?

A. Timeless handbags are definitely worth the splurge.

Q. What's your favorite fashion trend this summer and which is the trend you wish would just go away?

A. At the moment, I don't understand birkenstocks- I can't wait for that trend to go away. My favorite fashion trend for the summer: minimalistic and monochromatic looks.
