4 Tips Looking and Feeling Your Best: Day to Night
October 23, 2014
The transition from season to season is the perfect time to refresh your look and incorporate the latest trends and colors. The fall is also a great time to clean out your cosmetic bag to minimize any dust and allergens that can trigger your seasonal allergies. Here are a few tips to look and feel your best (day to night) this fall:
1. Sequins are very versatile and can easily take you from day to night. For a daytime look, simply pair a basic tee with your favorite jeans and once nighttime rolls around, simply add a sequined blazer and you’re ready to go. If you work in an office, keep a reusable bag with key pieces that can easily help take you from desk to dinner. You never know when an invitation after work might pop up, right? This should include: neutral colored pumps, bold accessories such as dangling earrings or a bold cuff and of course a clutch.
2. Disguise Allergy Face Beauty Challenges. To keep your face looking dewy and fresh all day long, apply a pearly nude cream highlighter to the top of your cheekbones and under the brow to help distract from a red nose caused by allergies. This works perfectly not only for daytime, but also for nighttime. Simply, quickly reapply before heading out for the evening to help wake up your face.
3. Be prepared. This fall, it’s important that you not only look good, but that you feel good too. I keep a little mini emergency kit with me at all times so nothing ruins my night, such as a stain remover pen in case I spill something on myself. And in case my allergies start to bother me, I always pack ZYRTEC® Dissolve Tabs, which dissolve quickly without water and provide 24-hour allergy relief.
4. Come clean. The fall is also a great time to clean out your cosmetic bag to minimize any dust and allergens that can trigger your seasonal allergies.
