If you know me, you know I absolutely love personalized jewelry. One of my favorite personalized jewelry designers is Sima Gilady. I first blogged about her back in 2009---she's such a sweet soul.
When my husband passed away last year, I reached out to her in regards to making a necklace with the number 56 on it--that was my husband's firefighter badge number. She ended up gifting me the necklace along with another one she specially made with his name on it. This was such a special gesture, I mean, who does that? The necklaces are gold-filled and I very rarely take them off. I do everything with them, from wearing them to the beach, pool, working out...you name it.
