My Go-To Clean Products

If you've been following me for a while now, you'll know that about 5 years ago I completely switched all my beauty products to non-toxic and clean products. I didn't stop there, I also switched to non-toxic household cleaning supplies and even make most of them myself.  For me health starts not only with what you put inside your body, but also what you put ON your body. Here are a few of my favorite beauty products that I've been using during quarantine:

Drunk Elephant C-Firma Day Serum: I can't say enough great things about this Vitamin C Serum. You've probably seen me blog about it before, but I've tried every Vitamin C serum under the sun and this one is by far the best (and it doesn't have a crazy price point like other ones). I also love that Drunk Elephant products are non-toxic and clean. This one actually has an EWG score of 3.  I've been using it now for two years. It doesn't clog my pores and even helps keep my breakouts at bay (especially hormonal breakouts). Since I have olive toned skin, I also tend to get hyper pigmentation pretty easily. My face actually started breaking out around my cheeks because of Maskne (ugh) and this serum helped fade the dark spots that were left from the breakout really quick.

Vapour Bronzing Powder:  I recently came across this clean beauty line and I must say I'm in LOVE. They are committed to using organically farmed and naturally derived ingredients and they even earned the "Champion Safety Status" from the EWG (Environmental Working Group). I've been using their Bronzing Powder for about one month now and it's amazing. The color is very natural and subtle. It's not too dark or orange and has the perfect amount of shimmer. You skin will look super healthy and glowing.

Vapour Blush: My search for the perfect blush is finally over. It's been so hard for me to find the perfect pink for my olive skin. This one goes on very natural and subtle and again, I love that I'm using clean products. It also doesn't clog my pores or cause any breakouts. I ended up getting the color "Smitten," which is great for an every day look.

Drunk Elephant Sukari Babyfacial: This product is probably the closest to getting a facial at home, which is great now during quarantine. It resurfaces the skin by removing dead skin cells. I have sensitive skin, so I left it on for 10 minutes (instead of 20) and if my skin was left feeling baby soft.
*Be sure to check in with your doctor if you are pregnant or nursing before using this product

Drunk Elephant Virgin Marula Oil: I love using Drunk Elephant's Virgin Marula Oil after using their baby facial product.

AndyO Organics Organic Deodorant: Can't leave my natural deodorant line out of my go-to's. It's made using certified organic ingredients including coconut oil, shea butter and tea tree oil, but best of all it actually works. I love having the peace of mind that I'm not putting harmful chemicals, aluminum or paraben in my body. If you're looking to make the switch to a non-toxic deodorant or perhaps you've tried other natural deodorants with no luck, than I highly recommend you check it out.
