Beauty Review: Sally Hansen Inspired by Carmindy Airbrush Spray Makeup

So next week is my charity shopping event and I was really hoping to get my makeup “professionally" 'dud' that day. The thing is, my event starts at 12pm and the salon doesn’t open until 11am. Last thing I want is to be running late, so I’ve decided to do it myself. I’ve been getting some make-up pointers from the show What Not to Wear on TLC. I love the way Carmindy (that’s the make-up artist on the show) applies make-up…it always looks so nice and fresh. I noticed that she uses a spray-on foundation, so I started googling it to see which one she uses. To my surprise, she actually has her own make-up line from Sally Hansen and it’s not expensive at all. I stopped by CVS yesterday and got the Airbrush Spray Makeup from her line in the Light to Medium shade.

Today was my first day trying it on and so far I love it. I used a triangle make-up sponge to apply it (as oppose to spraying directly on the skin—it’s really cold when you apply it… hehe) . It goes on very light and natural and blends perfectly with my skin tone. I regularly don’t use foundation because I’m afraid it’ll look cakey, but this was not the case and so far it’s lasted all day!

If you’re in the hunt for an inexpensive spray-on foundation you should definitely give this one a try. You can find it in drugstores, such as CVS for Walgreens and it goes for about $13 bucks. I also read she uses another spray-on foundation on the show from Classified Cosmetics called ERA, but I think they only sell it online.

*I’ll be posting some pics of my make-up after my event.

  1. Never heard of this one before, I have one from Dior that I only use for special occasions due to the high price, but totally going to give it a try, cause spray make-up it's the best ;)
