This weekend I hosted my first-ever Viva Fashion Charity Shopping Event. The event was a success and thanks to everyone that attended we helped raise more than $1,000 for Mision Child, an organization that helps children living in poverty in Latin America and the Caribbean (a special thanks to all that attended and helped make this possible).
It was also my mom’s birthday this weekend so after the event we had a big family dinner at a restaurant near by, which was the perfect ending to a perfect day. Here are some pics. my friend took right outside the event. I had been trying to figure out what I would wear to my event for months and fell in love with this dress as soon as I saw it and knew it was "the one" lol. I loved that it was flowy, which was perfect since I was doing a lot of running around prepping for everything. The shoes were really comfortable too--wore them for 6 hours straight. I’ll be posting more pictures of the event tomorrow.
