  1. Love your video and such great tips! My spring cleaning resolution is to not throw clothes with stains in my laundry basket but instead wash right away. I've ruined many of my favorite shirts by waiting a week or longer to do a wash. I always regret it too!

  2. I love the idea of having a clothing swap party. Especially since money is tight with everyone. This would be a good way of getting some new things without breaking the bank. Thanks so much for this very informative post. I'll be back to visit again soon. :)

  4. My Spring cleaning resolution is getting rid of clothes that I know that I am definitely not going to wear ever ever again! Anytime I'm really really bored (about every 2-3 months) I would go through my closet & get rid..correction TRY to get rid of stuff & always end up putting them back. SMH @ me. I need help to just let go. Also, I need help with wardrobe..PERIOD. LOL!

  6. Love the site! Thanks for helping a poor girl find some fashion :o) My spring cleaning resolution is to finally pack away my maternity clothes! They are so comfortable (and the shirts are nice and long!) but you only get to enjoy wearing pants with an elastic waist if you are pregnant. A spring cleaning tip is to finally get rid of those clothes that just don't fit anymore. You know, the ones you hang onto because you'll fit back into them when you drop 20 lbs....and finally save up enough to have your body re-sculpted... It's liberating and a boost to your self-esteem to have all the clothes in your closet fit!

  8. My spring cleaning resolution is to clean out my closet and donate all the clothes that either no longer fit me or that I no longer want. My grandmother regularly sends boxes of clothes to those in need in Colombia so it's great to know that you're helping others.

  11. Love your blog, been following it since day 1....
My spring cleaning resolution would be to throw out everything in my closet. LOL sounds drastic, but it's really not... A few months ago I had lapband surgery and went from a size 20 to a size 10/12... It's really great to see a new me but still I can't seem to adjust to the new me... I'm still afraid of wearing skirts, dresses, showing my arms. I still use some of my old pants(tailored), old shirts, tshirts. My resolution would be to get the courage and get rid of the clothes that I know are not flattering on me and stop trying to hold on to it. It’s really hard though for me to know what is flattering and what's not and have clothes in my closet which actually fit. A wardrobe makeover from Tim Gunn would be a dream come true.

  15. I live in Canada and spring is a definite change of season for weather and fashion. My tip, and a resolution that I always follow, is to review my wardrobe for the change-of-season. I move the new season's items to the front of my closet, make any hem, cleaning or other adjustments and remind myself of clothing items or accessories that I should keep at the top of my mind to fill out and update my looks. My wardrobe review not only keeps me on budget when shopping, but gets me excited to wear my carefully cared for favorites.

  16. I love spring, it's the time of the year when I feel specially happy! So if I could I would fill my wardobe of colouring clothes, new shoes and sandals, I would take out all of the winter things and put them in another place almost hidden and get rid of the things that I'm not going to use anymore to give to someone that may need it, I already did that this year! Then I'd try to wear all of the things and colors that I usually don't and not be afraid of showing myself. It would be a dream to go to New York to get a wardrobe makeover with Tim!
    Thanks for this amazing blog!
