Kardashian Kollection at Sears Review

So this past weekend I finally got around to checking the Kardashian Kollection at Sears in person. I want to start off by saying I really wanted to love this line.  I  love Kourtney Kardashian's style, so the thought of them having an affordable line inspired by each of the sister's personal style seemed great! But when I finally got around to check it out in person I must say I was a bit disappointed. The fabrics of the blazers for example looked and felt very stiff, but yet had a price point of $99. I can't really see myself paying this much for a blazer, when I know I can probably go to another store and find something of similar or even better quality for half as much (but again that's just my opinion).  Some of the dresses also seemed very poorly made for the rather high price-tag.

I did though see some things I liked, such as a sequined blazer and a couple of really cute skirts, but again I think I'd rather wait for items to go on sale before I actually buy anything. Have any of you had a chance to check out the line in person? What are your thoughts?

  1. i also checked out the line and wasn't impressed at all. the first 2 things i checked out was the blazer and the animal print dress kim k wore in the ad. I completely agree about the blazer. way too stiff and definitely not worth $99. i liked the dress, but hated the stiff scratchy fabric. The slacks also looked crappy. You can get much better quality for less money at NY&Co or the limited.

  2. Did you get a hcance to see their accesory line - jewelry & bags. If so, what did you think?

  3. It is definitely not affordable. I can probably find cuter and cheaper things at TJ Maxx.

  4. cute, but definitely on sale only. i feel like some of the animal prints can go either way. cute or a little cheap looking.

  7. I really appreciate your review! I went to see the line in August, and tried on a few things. I felt that the prices were on the high side, but ended up buying the black jumpsuit recently on sale. The sunglasses and leopard bustier dress are selling really well!

  9. I checked it out yesterday and thought it was awful!! Trashy, cheap looking, poor quality and totally unoriginal and uninspired!! I find it very hard to believe they would put such scratchy materials next to their primped and pampered bodies!! It really shows them to be total sell outs I'm afraid!!

  10. What I was really baffled at was the prices! ITS SEARS!! not to mention most items where the same prices they were when they had their bebe collection. I am not saying the items were not cute some where but you could find them anywhere at a better price. JLO's lines at Kohls blew them out of the water!

  11. I 100 % agree this line was at Sears !!!! Most of the people that normally shop there are looking for cheap clothes and the people who went there just for that are shocked by the price ttag. Also I know the idea is to dress like them I GUESS but who in the world other than models would wear a skin tight leopard print dress on a daily bases get real. Make some jeans or cute shirts for the average woman body. Great idea bad approach everyone isn't a " kardashian"

  13. I went to sears to check out the collection and was very disappointed. I can see they are not trying to bring their style to the every day girl, but to make a huge profit off their fans.
All of their product are made in China (cheap costs, the materials looked cheap, scratchy and poor finishing. To make things worst the price tag was really high for the quality of the product. Lets just say that one of their T-shirt that can look like a $9.99 shirt is marked for $24.99, that is a 250% (2 and a half times) profit. I wouldn't mind spending the money on their collection if the quality was better, the designs were more for the day to day girl and if they tried at least a little to support the U.S. economy by hiring the labor here and not sending it to China.

  14. I also like Kourtney's style and wanted to love the collection but the clothing look like something I can find for cheaper at Rainbow. Forver 21 clothes look better then the collection

  15. Cheaply made...not at all worth the price! What a scam!

  16. I went to sears a couple of times and my impression wasn't different to everyone's thoughts. The materials they used were very low quality for the price they're tagged for. I'd rather go to Macy's and find a nice INC or impulse on sale. I liked the styles esp. kourtney's, but the prices and materials were very disappointing.

  17. Loved some of the dresses and jackets....but get real!!!! The fabrics were poor and the prices high! Too high for the poor fabric and too high for Sears!! Noway...dissapointed.

  18. Only great thing about them is that have some DD sizes in lingerie. I bought some of them for a bridal shower gift.

  20. I feel the same :-( I really wanted to like the line. I enjoy the sexy but professional look in my line of work (event planner), and this looked to be everything I needed in a wardrobe! I stopped in to check them out after drooling over them online, and could not believe the quality! It was Sear's quality at Macy's prices! I'll stick to TJ Maxx, NY & Co, and Express! Perhaps if the sales bring the prices low enough I will venture a try at the line, but that would be it!

  21. i bought their lace bowler bag, it was really nice and sturdy (so i thought). i only had the bag 2 1/2 mons and the strap and top of the bag began to CRACK! like cheap leather!!! it cost me $80 something dollars for that bag and it looked like i had owned it for years! i was so excited when they introduced their line but now im having second thoughts. and the previous comments were right: they could have at least had some nice jeans! everybody dont go to the club every day!

  22. I saw the cutest pair of heels online(the washington DC) so I ordered them so excited to wear them. When I got them I was disappointed to find the heel on one of the shoes was slightly crooked, so when I walked my foot would lean to one side, which could potentially be a nasty fall! Never seen this before on any shoe! I'm guessing they were cheaply made? I was forced to return them :(

  23. Went to Sears to finally see kk... Was excited to try on things but when I did I was so disappointed. The clothes were poorly fitted. No room for breast in some dresses. That's crazy comming from curvey women. I find it hard to belive these girls would wear such ill fitting and poorly made clothing. The fabric on one dress reminded me of geranimal printed shirts from Walmart. The bras were very cheap. I would never spend my money on this stuff. I could shop at dillards or macys and do much better in quality for.the same price point.
    Dissapointed girls........

  24. I can not believe how poor the quality of clothing is for this line!!! Do you think we idiots to buy something that you would not wear yourself. I think putting out that quality of clothing is an insult to your fans!!! You will NEVER have to worry about me buying anything from this line. I will make sure I discourage anyone I know from buying anything from this collection. So disappointed, I expected more from the Kardashians.

  25. I also ran out to check the line and I must say I was also disappointed in the line. I thought that of course the line would be higher quality of clothing. But wasn't It also has a very high price tag...I really like Kourtney's lace shirt she wore in the ad,but I got their and actually touched the material and wasn't happy. Needless to say I didn't buy it.

  26. I do not like how that Kardashians wear their clothes from the line to red carpet events. Why would anyone want to buy and wear the EXACT SAME outfit that a celebrity has already worn and been photographed in a hundred times?

    ReplyDelete
  27. Not sure why anyone would buy these clothes. Do the Kardashians need more money? NO.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Did anyone have problems keeping the boe tie together on one of the silk shirts?

    ReplyDelete
  29. I hated it. It makes me sad that they want to have people spend their hard earned money on this cheap crap. We might be poor people not make enough as they make but shit we are not wearing that garbage wall mart looking clothes. And the price ridiculous they have sweatshops in china and they trying to scam more people here in the U.S. please. I wouldn't wear that cheap looking shit even if they paid ne too.

  30. They don't wear the outfits from their line. They r replicas but the ones they wear r better fabric

  31. The pants are all wrinkled !!horrible!

    ReplyDelete
  32. I love the Kardshians and some of the new line. I am a size 4 and could not fit into the clothes. The quality was substandard and I do not take a large which was tight on me. WHat the heck, I don't mind paying a higher price for this clothing but the sizing and some of the materials on the blouses and the pants are simply awful.

    ReplyDelete
  33. The clothing is definitely cheap and their sizes are terrible. I tried on some of their jeans and I could barely fit into a size four. I normally wear a two or a four but it's a joke. No way Kim can fit into anything other than a size 8. Tacky, low quality and extremely expensive! Sorry but I'll pass.

  34. The worst handbag i have ever purchased, studs came off leather/vinyle split horribe horrible bag!!! so disappointed after paying over $100 for it - never again!

  35. omg...now im freaking out. I just purchased a dress online...it was the lepord one Kim wore...and im going to receive it in about 20 days...seems like ill be sending it back than...crap.

  36. Totally DISAPPOINTED! REALLY looked forward to finding something cute & affordable...I also like kourtneys style...but no such luck. I TRIED to find anything, but all of it was unacceptable. Jewelry was cheap in quality, shades were ugly, bags and wallets unappealing, clothes just not cute only cheap and trashy. Don't like Kim and khloes style, kourtneys is cute, classy, sophisticated but with a twist of fun...trendy but easy. Spent time to find at least one item but walked away empty handed. Unreasonable pricing for the poor quality. Defeats the purpose. What's their purpose? Definitely not meeting fan/customers needs. Target, Marshall's, tjmax meets needs. Nothing special about their line.

  37. Hello everyone I like to say I love the kardashians clothes line but I can't afford them. I only have a few pieces of clothing and I do wsh I could buy everything. I've been in sears constantly waiting for that big sale on the kardashians clothing but it doesn't seem to go down enough for me to afford. There are many people who want to buy their clothing but there are many like me that can't afford it. I am a hhuge huge fan of the kardashian sisters but I'm sad to say I can't get everything from their collection. I still have a wish list on qvc hoping the prices will go down. From a sad fan who adores the sisters

  38. So, after much anticipation I went to Sears to check out the Kardashian Kollection for myself. I'm a huge fan of their style, and I loved the way their garments and accessories looked on Sears' website. However, upon touching their handbags and clothing in the store, I realized the material was super cheap; stiff, thin and just....obviously cheap! The clothes were cute, but cheaply made and most things were priced at $99! They look great from a distance, but there is little substance there. (I'm seriously only talking about their products here, lol). I love the Kardashians, but I'm a little bummed. Won't be buying unfortunately. :(

  39. everyone wake up...The kardashians DONT WEAR SEARS..They wear quality brand name clothes... SO they decidec to sell cheap crap to make MORE money..

    ReplyDelete
  40. I also got some stuff online and was horrified by the cheap quality and fit of the products. Is it just me or the dresses are so short!!! I am 5´7 and some barely skimmed my butt. I am actually considering cutting the dresses and making them into a shirt. I will never buy anything by them again!

  41. I ordered a dress from the kardashian collection from Dorothery Perkins in the uk, the dress looked nice and the fabric was of good quality but it didnt fit, could pull the dress up from the bottom and struggled to put it on from the top as wouldnt come over my chest. after reading the reviews for the same product none of the buyers were able to get into this dress. you would have to buy a dress size 2 sizes bigger just to get it on then it would be too big around the chest and hips. what a joke! so disappointed, trust me even t K girls wouldnt get into this dress, what were they thinking when they designed it.

  42. Recently I checked the Kardashian Kollection and HATED it. The fabric looks cheap and awful especially the shoes. The shoes just look so horrible and CHEAP. The clothing is so expensive for no reason. Payless shoes look way better than the Kardashian Kollection shoes.

  43. I shop at sears all the time for my daughter, I am a single mother and sears is right in my price range. While there I checked out the Kardashin Kollection and I am not impressed at all. The clothes were cheaply made and over priced. It makes me look at the Kardashian Kollection in a different light. Now as a consumer when I'm shopping I look for certain things and this collection had none of the things I look for. I feel as though the Kardashin's need to start over and try again because this is not working. How much you want to bet they don't even wear there own clothing.

  44. I'm absolutely amazed that people even checked out the Kardashian clothes. What is it about them that makes anyone even want to look at their clothes or even consider buying them? I do not shop anywhere where things the Kardashians endorse are sold. They really are trash.

  45. Checked out their handbags at Strand bags Australia. Cheaply made and styles was trashy. More like "hooker" style. I wouldn't touch them with a ten foot pole. Chose instead a beautiful Guess handbag worth $200 of high quality. Very happy with my selection. Women aren't silly, we are experienced shoppers and though something may look good in pictures in reality we can feel the quality. Kardashian Kollection should be renamed as Kardashian Krap. I would rather pay top dollar for a quality brand, I deserve it.

  46. I bought a Kardashian Activewear hoodie in a pinkish purplish color for about $20 from Sears... Let me tell you, the quality SUCKS. It has only been a couple months and there are so many holes in the sleeves and I dont even wear this shirt often. Its like the material is so cheap and I definietly wasnt expecting that. I also had a peek at some of their other items and I wasn't impressed at all. However, I do like their handbags and tights. Other than that, I wouldnt buy anything else from them.

    ReplyDelete
  47. OK. I can't imagine anyone being caught dead in most of the items. The leopard print fabric looks and feels like it was left over from a bad 1970s Blaxploitation flick. My first thought was like Bill Clinton, you might try the stuff but you wouldn't inhale - because you'd probably rip out the cheap fabric at the seams.
