It's Sleep Awareness Week + Giveaway!

March 3, 2015

As you might remember, a few weeks ago I shared how I partnered with P&G’s Try it & Love it Sleep Soundly program to test out the Febreze Sleep Serenity Bedroom Collection and ZzzQuil. It’s been working like a charm and I’ve been able to get my zzz’s in. With Sleep Awareness Week kicking off this week (and Daylight Saving this Saturday) it’s important for all us to always get good night’s rest. We’ve all heard about the benefits of sleep (from healthier skin, stronger immunity system to lower stress) but many of us don't really make it a priority. I’ve been making it my goal to get at least 7 hours of sleep. This week we all have sleep on the brain and might wonder how many other Americans have difficulty sleeping. Procter & Gamble brands Febreze and ZzzQuil consulted with the National Sleep Foundation to conduct a Harris Poll that revealed the following:

29% admit that not getting a good night sleep on Sunday affects the rest of their week.

The average time spent falling asleep after getting into bed on Sundays is 64 minutes.

88% say there are certain steps they can take before bedtime to lead to a good night sleep on Sunday. A better night sleep starts with a good bedtime routine.

Before I get to bed I like to spray the Febreze Moonlit Lavender. It smells like lavender with hints of sweet vanilla and sandalwood, which is SO relaxing. I also like to alternate between the Warm Milk & Honey scent (which is also part of the collection). The Warm Milk & Honey evokes the senses with hints of a warm glass of milk swirled with honey. This reminds me so much of my mom. She never goes to sleep without drinking a warm glass of milk with honey. I feel like I’m back at her house whenever I spray it.

Recently I’ve been suffering from occasional sleeplessness so to help get a good night’s rest I also tried out ZzzQuil. It’s a non-habit forming sleep-aid that helps you get exactly what you need—a beautiful night’s rest. I was able to get to bed earlier (around 10pm) and got 8 hours of sleep. I woke up feeling refreshed!

Daylight Saving Time is quickly approaching too! According to a recent ZzzQuil survey, more than half of all US adults say their sleep is affected by Daylight Saving Time; for those that say they suffer from occasional sleeplessness, more than 60% cite DST as effecting their sleep.

Do you occasionally have trouble falling asleep? ZzzQuil, is a non-habit-forming sleep-aid for the relief of occasional sleeplessness that can help you fall asleep easily, sleep soundly and wake up feeling refreshed. Visit coupons.com to download a coupon for ZzzQuil.
