Home Office Makeover: Before and After

Hi guys, I'm so thrilled to share with you my home office makeover. As some of you might know, last month my makeover was featured on the show 'So Flo Home Project' (on the ABC affiliate in Miami). The talented Martin Amado and host of the show did such an amazing job. I seriously couldn't have asked for more. The rest of my house is pretty eclectic/contemporary with lots of greys, so I wanted to go with something more feminine for my home office. I decided on pinks walls, which definitely brighten up the space and add that feminine touch (*I took the before pictures after I painted, but the walls were actually white*).

I love how Martin basically created two spaces within my office, one where I can work and the other  more of a lounging area. He also thought of every detail from the gold "VF" letters to that adorable black and white coffee cup.

These "faux" curtains are a great designer trick that give the illusion of full curtains.

I absolutely love this lounging area that he created, you can pretty much find me here all day haha.
He also took this faux cow-hide rug that I had in my dining room and used it for this space. He also took some of my press clippings that I had stored away in a box and displayed them on the wall. I would have never thought of that.

Another fun surprise that Martin had in store was this book from the Property Brothers (I love their show). Not only did he get the book signed for me, but he also got them to send me a little video message, it was so cool.

Overall, I'm so in love with my home office and actually feel more inspired and creative when it comes to working on my blog. Thank you so much Martin and the team at the So Flo Home Project for this amazing makeover.
